Hey guys,
this past week I had the amazing opportunity of playing outside the White House for Invisible Children. During the set, I played a Yeah Yeah Yeahs song with a slightly different spin on it. I figured I'd share it with you, so here you are! Hope you guys are well and I can't wait to see you soon with a new record out... Miss you all!
God Bless.

Hey guys, After a colorful, far from dull couple of months in the studio, I'm thrilled to announce that I am officially done tracking this new album. It was one of the easiest as well as hardest records I've made and I couldn't be more satisfied with the outcome. I'm absolutely thrilled about these songs, and this album is easily my favorite TRS album to date. So stoked... As we prepare for what's to come, I'm attempting to befriend patience while I wait for you to hear it and while I wait here growing even more eager to dive in to this new season... More info soon! Hope you are well! Bryce

Bittersweet Symphony Cover Detail

posted: Dec 2 2008 4:30PM

Hey guys,

my friend Ace Enders got a bunch of folks together to record a cover of "Bittersweet Symphony" for the VH1 Save The Music foundation. All of the proceeds go towards this great foundation. Ace Enders, Mark Hoppus (blink 182/plus 44), Matt Thiessen (Relient K), Kenny Vasoli (Starting Line), Craig Owens (Chiodos), Alex Gaskarth (All Time Low), Aaron Marsh (Copeland), Duane F. Okun (Socratic), and myself all sing on the track and it turned out pretty great. Check it out at itunes, it's only 99 cents and it's for a good cause. I hope you guys are well. Oh, and If youre curious, 1:44, 2:44-2:52 (singing harmony with mark hoppus) and 3:40 - 3:47 are my we are the world spotlight moments!

I hope you guys are well.

Inspiration, Motivation, No Confusion, Good Conclusions. Detail

So here I am... sitting in front of a piano, guitar by my side, filled with more desire than ever to create something that affects. I've never felt like this going into a record. Something is different this time. Over the past 2 years, certain colors have been added to my "palette of inspiration" where at the same time certain ones have been stripped away. As a result, there is a plethora of emotions within the potential content of these songs that range from elation to desperation, and they are fueling these days of writing. I'm hoping for the outcome to be an outstanding, beautiful record. But here's the deal, I need help. If you think about it, please pray for me. Please pray that great creativity and inspiration will flow through me and that amazing songs will appear - Songs that do more than just make someone shake what the good Lord gave em, but make them shake because of what the good Lord gave em. I don't take credit for it. I want this album to be special.

This is exciting. Love you guys.

Thanks.

Hey guys, thanks so much for such an amazing tour. This was the most fun and most rewarding tour I've ever done because of you guys. It was kind of a roller coaster of a tour in a lot of ways and I'll never forget it, more importantly I hope you won't. I'm going to try to be good about blogging more to keep in touch during this time off from the road while I'm writing the record. Again, thanks for such a great tour, already really looking forward to the next one... Bryce
